St. Patrick's Primary School

Zimbabwe Appeal 2025
Dear Parents,

We are reaching out to ask for your support in a special appeal for our partner school in Zimbabwe, St John the Baptist. This summer, two teachers, Mr. Scullion and Mrs. Gribbin, will be travelling to the school to witness the challenges faced by students and staff every day. One of the biggest struggles they endure is the lack of reliable electricity, making learning incredibly difficult, especially during the darker months.

Our goal is to raise £10,000 to provide year-round electricity, transforming the education and opportunities available to these children. Imagine your own child trying to study in the dark, unable to access the basic resources we often take for granted. For these students, a stable power supply would mean brighter classrooms, access to essential technology, and an overall better future.

To make this vision a reality, we will be holding a number of fundraising events, and we truly need your help. Whether through donations, attending events, or spreading the word, every contribution makes a difference. Together, we can bring light, hope, and opportunity to St John the Baptist.

Thank you for your kindness and support.
